Priests/Religious can benefit from a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend. As a priest/religious, you may well have promoted Worldwide Marriage Encounter among your parishioners, students, friends, or family. You are no doubt aware of the overwhelming popularity of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter movement, its effectiveness in bringing couples closer together and - often - transforming or even saving marriages.

The Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends are designed in such a way that both priests and religious can participate fully. The principles of love, commitment and effective communication translate quite easily to the relationship between a priest and his parish or any group to whom he ministers. Priests/religious who have made a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend call the experience "life enhancing."

The series of presentations given on the Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend allow you to look at yourself as an individual, and then to look at your relationship to those with whom you live and work and to whom you minister. Finally, you are led to look at your relationship with God, the Church as a whole, and the world.

"Dialogue" is the communication technique taught on the Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend. A priest/religious who is making the weekend dialogues with the priest on the ministry team, or another priest/religious who is also making the weekend.

We realize you may be needed in your parish on the particular weekend you choose to make your Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend. In order that you will be free to attend the Encounter weekend, there are priests, by area, who are willing to fill in for others who wish to make an Encounter weekend.

Contributions made on or in connection with the Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend are made anonymously and you may contribute whatever you can.

Please support the Worldwide Marriage Encounter movement by promoting the weekend in the course of your daily ministry. Your parish Marriage Encounter Contact Couple would be happy to give pulpit talks and set up information tables in your parish (or arrange for Marriage Encountered couples/religious to give/provide them). Your parish Marriage Encounter Contact Couple also can assist you in getting couples/religious in your parish registered to attend the Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend.

Registration consists of two parts, the personal information and the registration fee.  Your registration will not be complete until we receive your non-refundable registration fee of $100. This fee reserves your space on the weekend, and allows us to plan appropriately for food and accommodations for all those attending the weekend.
